I have joined the learning design team at Uni4Online working on online learning initiatives. My duty is to work with SMEs to produce learning content that is both interactive and manageable for asynchronous learning. I use my ability as a designer and educator to try and develop this in unique ways while thinking about the learner at the center of learning.

Programme Manager: Graphic Design

I was responsible for running and maintaining the Graphic Design degree and curriculum on all PIHE campuses in South Africa. I developed and submitted a Higher Certificate for Graphic Design which was accepted by the CHE and SAQA and had been developed for rollout in 2022. I was also responsible for the development of online blended learning in the department and was able to circumvent a difficult period during the pandemic where our students were without technology, and software, but we continued with the curriculum to ensure an overall successful year. In this position I managed developers across campuses - and outside - to ensure that our combined curriculum ran effectively.
